Couching

Hi all, apologies for not updating the blog on a regular basis. We had many visitors over the last couple of weeks and were busy settling in and working in and around the house (see photos below). Other than that, everything is fine. Margriet's belly is getting bigger and bigger, but that's obviously a good thing. Gunnar and I have discovered lots of nice walks in the forest around the Duivelsberg. He started talking to me in Dutch though ... I find that confusing. First German, then English and now Dutch. How am I supposed to always get what my people want me to do. Anyway, I just concentrate on guarding the house. The good thing is that I can do most of it from my favourite spot on our couch.

We're Having a Baby!

Some of you might already know, but we'd like to inform everybody now that we're having a baby next year (~ in May) :-) !!! Today our midwife checked Margriet's blood pressure, the baby's heartbeat and so on and fortunately everything is fine! We're happy, proud and curious about what's going to happen next.

Sonia and Sven's Wedding on Mallorca

Last week I enjoyed myself in Dwingeloo and kept everybody there busy, meanwhile my people went to Mallorca for Sonia and Sven's wedding. The ceremony was magnificent and the party afterwards fun. Margriet and Gunnar had a great time and additionally explored the island (see below).

Wylerbergmeer

Today we went for a walk to the Wylerbergmeer, a beautiful lake and recreation area nearby. It's only ten minutes from our home and I can run, jump, swim, sniff, play there as much as I want to. Looking forward to showing you around when you visit us.

Radboud Universiteit Nijmegen

In the pictures you can see Margriet outside and inside her new workplace at Radboud Universiteit Nijmegen. She's got a comfortable office on her own, very nice colleagues and looks forward to the upcoming tasks.

Our House Is a Great Place to Relax

There are many places in our house where we can have a rest. The terrace always invites us to a nap, but my Kudde is just as cosy and I'm happy to share it with Kwak, my new friend who was sent to me by my breeder family.

I'm Two Years Old Now :-) !!!

Hi folks, long time no blogging. We were very busy with our move to Beek-Ubbergen, but we're almost done now and enjoy our new house very much! I will tell you all about it another time. For today is my birthday! I'm two years old and mature though my people don't always agree ;-) . In the morning I got a parcel from my mum Anjoo, my sister Belia and their people who took care of me when I was very little. Unpacking the parcel was fun already, but the content was even better: a squeaky duck, lots of treats and a wonderful birthday card. Thanks a lot, guys :-) !!! Afterwards my people and I went for a looooong walk to the Duivelsberg, a beautiful nature reserve at our doorstep. That was fun, but now I'm very tired and have to go to bed. I will keep you posted about what's going on here.

Back in Dwingeloo

I'm back in Dwingeloo. Hanneke (Margriet's mum) picked Gunnar and me up in Oxford last Friday and now we're enjoying the farm again. Unfortunately, Margriet had to stay in Oxford for another two weeks to finish her project at the university, but she's fine and we'll finally move into our house in Beek Ubbergen in four weeks time. Very exciting!

We Are Off!

Yesterday a big van arrived at our house and men took away all our stuff. My people assured me that that was ok ... I thought I better keep an eye on them from the window anyway!
