Last weekend this year's so called 'Himmelfahrtskommando' took place in Beek. Sandra, Liv, Stella, Vincent and Till Gottstein as well as Constanze, Sophia and Mark von der Meden visited us. Fortunately, the weather was great and we spent lots of time outdoors. Since we went to a theme park on Saturday and a big playground on Sunday the kids were well catered for. I also had lots of fun because Emma, the Gottstein family's dog, came along too. We really enjoyed catching up with our friends!

Vierdaagse

At the moment the Vierdaagse take place in our area. About 40.000 people participate in this annual hiking event which is a huge fair at the same time. My people told me that they would like to become a part of the movement next year. I'm not sure that's a good idea since dogs are not allowed to accompany their pack leaders - outrageous!
